Description:The Harlem Valley Rail Ride starts and finishes in Millerton, New York, in northeastern Dutchess County. From this attractive small town, riders head out on routes of 22, 30, 55, 75, or 100 miles, beginning on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail and continuing on back roads through farm country for the longer distances. Chartered bus transportation between Manhattan and Millerton is available.
After the ride, we welcome everyone back to town with a Festival full of activities for cyclists and area residents alike: fun things for kids, chicken and pork barbeque, a farmers' market, rides, massage, music, and more. Plus, everyone gets to cool off in the town pool!
